Math - The ONE Subject Most Likely To Cause Your Child To Fail
"Dad, Can You Help Me With My Math Homework?"
Frustration, anger, misery, humiliation and despair... sounds like the last act of Hamlet doesn't it?
What has the power to produce these emotions in the majority of the population?
I suspect somebody has the answer.
The right answer is actually a question . . ."Dad, can you help me with my math homework?"
Oh, I also forgot to mention fear and panic!
Most of us have been there.
Math is the one subject that can seriously damage your child's academic health.
Unfortunately it's also one of those subjects that your child will probably need if he/she is to achieve their potential in life.
It is absolutely vital your child gets the right start at the earliest age possible.
Release The Math Potential In Your Child
Research has shown that Math can evoke negative emotions, even guilt, in anyone - regardless of their status or position.
It made me determined to find a way of teaching math that not only would every child enjoy but would release the enormous potential within each of them.

I believe the answer is "Yes!"

How many of us actually liked Math in school?
Is it any wonder our children feel the same? For so many of us – including teachers - the very term Math evokes negative emotions of fear and guilt!
Carl Jung, one of the greatest psychologists who ever lived, recalls the trauma of his algebra lesson:
"The teacher pretended that algebra was a perfectly natural affair, to be taken for granted, whereas I didn't even know what numbers were. Mathematics classes became sheer terror and torture to me. I was so intimidated by my incomprehension that I did not dare to ask any questions."
So what can you do to help your child or student succeed where so many of us have failed?
Parents/Carers- i f you are confident your child is going to receive the best possible math education from the very start there is no point reading any further.
Teachers – if you are confident your K - 5 math or Foundation Stage curriculum is the best it can ...
